wahh...
so long didnt blog ler.
haha.

im back from attachment le.
school days again.
year 2 kinda stress.
hope to get 3.2.
PRAY!
hehehe.
i trust my Father in Heaven.
He sure give me good grades de.
sem 2 that time also like that.
He surprised me with a 0.5 jump.
Lord, continue to surprise me!
cause' i know You love me too much to refrain the good things from me.
You wont bear to!
muacks!

now, watch this.
just less than 5 mintues.
i find this song very meaningful.
desmond and elaine duet this song on their wedding ceremony.
i love it..

Before the world began, You were on His mind, And every tear you cry is precious in His eyes, Because of His great love He gave His only son, Everything was done so you would come.

Nothing you can do could make Him love you more, And nothing that you've done could make Him close the door. Because of His great love He gave His only Son, Everything was done so you would come.

Come to the Father, though your gift is small, Broken hearts, broken lives, He will take them all, The power of the Word, the power of His blood, Everything was done so you would come.

yes, everything was done so you would come.
you may ask, "got so good de meh?"
yes, indeed!
its free!
FOC!
well... to us, it may be free.
but to God, it cost Him everything.
can you imagine?
He is God!
but because of us, the human race..
He got to go through so much suffering and pain.
so much whipping and shaming.
hanging there on the cross.
i believe its much more hurting than giving birth.
hands and feet nailed plus the gravity all.
ouchh.. soO PAIN!
that everything can be done nicely, so you would come.
all we need to do is to ACCEPT.
unbeliveable right?
but believe it or not, its true.
which God ever done that?
who are we to have a God who is willing to make such great sacrifice for us?

i have a heart that beats every second.
i have a mind that is full of ideas.
its less obvious than my hands and feet.
but very real.

here's something else that's TRUE.
im beginning to suspect im MORE THAN JUST A MIND IN A BODY.
i cant prove it but i think i have a SPIRIT, like my mind, that's as real as my body.

maybe that's why i want to be treated like a WHOLE person.
i want to be loved for who i am.
some say im UNIQUELY created with VALUE and WORTH.
i wonder if its all that true.
then show me the ONE who loves and values me the way i am.

suspect what you see is not all you get?
want to figure out how you may already be loved for who you are?
here's something to think about...

you were created with value and worth.

do you know?
God LOVES you and CREATED you to know Him personally.

God created you:
"you created every part of me and put me together in my mother's womb."~psalm139:13-14

God loves you:
"for God loved the world so much that He gave His only son (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."~john3:16

God's plan for you:
[Christ is speaking]"...my purpose is to give life in all its fullness." (a fulfilling and purposeful life)~john10:10

what do you think keeps you from knowing God personally and experiencing His love?

OUR SIN keeps us from knowing God personally and experiencing His love.

who has sinned?
"for all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious (perfect) standard."~romans3:23

God has created us with a freedom of choice.
although we were meant to enjoy a personal,
loving relationship with Him,
we have chosen to go our independent way,
thus breaking that relationship with Him.
this continual tendency of choosing to ignore or reject God is what the Bible calls sin.

what happens when we sin?
"but the trouble is that your sins have cut you off from God."~isaiah59:2
"for the wages of sin is death (spiritual separation from God resulting in feelings of emptiness)."~romans6:23

sin separates us from God and brings about an emptiness in our hearts that only God can fill.
but we are continually trying to fill it through our own efforts such as money, career, relationships, popularity, looks, good works, freedom, philosophy or religion, and we always fail.

BUT God has never stopped loving us.
He has even provided the way to fill our emptiness through...

JESUS CHRIST
God's ONLY solution dor our sin.
through HIM ALONE we can KNOW God personally and experience God's LOVE.

why Jesus?
"Jesus said to them, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. no one comes to the Father (God) except through Me."~john14:6

Jesus is the only way to God.

why Jesus have to die?
"He died once for the sins of us all guilty sinners, although He Himself was innocent of any sin at any time, that He might bring us safely home to God."~1peter3:18

Jesus died to pay for the penalty of our sins, that we may be forgiven.

why did Christ have to rise from dead?
"Christ died for our sins just as the Scriptures said He would... He was buried...three days afterwards He arose from the grave just as the prophets foretold...He was seen by more than 500 christian brothers at one time..."~1corinthians15:3-6

Jesus Christ rose from the dead to prove that He is God, and to give us eternal life.

since God has provided the solution for our sins, why do some people still have the sense of emptiness? because...

we need to personally RECEIVE Jesus Christ as our SAVIOR and LORD, then we can KNOW God personally and experience His LOVE.

we need to believe in and receive Christ:
"to all who received me, He gave the right to become children of God. All they had to do was to trust [believe in] Him to save them."~john1:12

we receive Christ by faith:
"for it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God-not by works so that no one can boast."~ephesians2:8-9

we receive Christ by Personal invitation:
[Christ is speaking]"behold I stand at the door and knock. if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him."~revelation3:20

receiving Christ involves:
-recognising our need for Christ.
-turning to Christ and away from self (repentance).
-trusting Christ to come into our lives, forgive our sins, and make us what He created us to be.

just agreeing in our mind that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough.
nor is it enough to have an emotional experience.
we receive Christ by faith as a decision of our will.

you can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer:
prayer is talking with God.
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with the words as He is with the attitude of your heart.
here is a suggested prayer:

"Lord Jesus, i need You. thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. i believe in You. i open my heart and receive You as my Savior and Lord. thank You for forgiving me, giving me eternal life and making me whole. lead me as you know best. in Jesus's Name i pray, Amen."

does this prayer express the desire of your heart?
if it does, pray this prayer right now, and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

the Bile promises eternal life to all who receive Christ:
"whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have His Son, does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life."~1john5:12-13

you can thank God often that Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you (hebrews13:5).
this means that you have eternal life from the very moment you receive Him.

do not depend on feelings:
the promise of God's word, the Bible - not our feelings - is our authority.
the Christian lives by faith (trust) in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word.
flying in an airplane can illustrate the relationship among fact (God and His Word), faith (our trust in God and His Word), and feeling (the result of our faith and obedience) (john14:21).

to be transported by an airplane, we must place our faith in the trustworthiness of the aircraft and the pilot who flies it.
our feelings of confidence or fear do not affect the ability of the airplane to transport us, thought they do affect how much we enjoy the trip.
in the same way, we as Christians do not depend on feelings or emotions, but place our faith (trust) in the trustworthiness of God and the promises of His Word.
